Email Transport & Travel eTown is the result of a collaborative effort between various Government agencies to provide the general public with information and services related to local transportation and overseas travel. Designed to provide one-stop information and services, here you will be able to find everything you need to know about travelling into, out of and within Singapore.
The participating Government agencies are:- Ministry Of Transport (MOT)
- Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
- Land Transport Authority (LTA)
- Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)
- Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)
The Ministry of Transport is responsible for the development of cost-effective and efficient transportation in Singapore. It strives to position Singapore as an International civil aviation and maritime centre.
Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)Also known as the Home Team, the Ministry of Home Affairs is responsible for public safety, civil defence and immigration.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)The Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducts and manages Singapore’s relations with other countries.
Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA)The LTA is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transport developments in Singapore
Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)The CAAS is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that negotiates air services agreements on behalf of the Government and advises on matters related to civil aviation.
Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)The MPA is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that regulates and manages port and marine services, facilities and activities within Singapore waters.
