| The Singapore Passport is issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.As a Singapore Citizen, you will need a Singapore Passport whenever you travel abroad. |

Loss of Passport |

| Should you lose your Singapore Passport in Singapore or overseas, you must report the loss immediately. Find information on how and where to report your lost Singapore Passport. |

Extension of Passport |
 |
| Citizens may be issued with a passport with validity of less than 10 years (if the passport was issued before 1 April 2005) or 5 years (if the passport was issued from 1 April 2005 onwards). Passports issued before 15 Aug 2006 to male citizens aged between 11 and 16½ years are valid for 2 years or till the holder reaches 17½ years old, whichever is earlier. The extension of Singapore Passport may be granted upon application. |

Deletion of Child’s Particulars |

| Since 1 Jan 2000, children would require to have their own Singapore Passport to travel. Parents who have previously included their child/children's particulars in the Singapore Passport may apply to delete the child's particulars |

Passport Application for Singaporeans overseas |

| As a Singapore citizen residing overseas, you can choose to apply for your Singapore Passport on-line via APPLES or you can obtain the application forms at the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission and submit your application through the Mission. |
